Regan #19

     Yesterday was the 57th anniversary of the barcode. So we made our name in barcode format. 

For hockey we have had only two practices and we are going to have a game this Sunday at 1:30 at the Kinsmen. We are playing a team from Saskatoon. The good thing is though that we have another practice on Saturday before our game on Sunday. We have three returning players from last years Tier 1 team. Me, Drew, and Kaleb. Everybody else either played Atom last year or they played Peewee Tier 2.

Yesterday, as you know we had a exhibition game against Saskatoon. We played really good but we lost 6-4. But the good thing is that when we got to Saskatoon for a tournament we get to play them the first game there. I have an old friend who used to live in Moose Jaw on that Saskatoon team. So hopefully when we play again in Saskatoon we will be able to beat them. This whole week almost is all practices but next week on Saturday we have our home opener against the defending champs, Estevan,  but the good thing is that they have only 1 returning player from Tier 1 last year and we have three so it should be a good game. And everybody from Tier 2 last year, they had good games against Estevan in their league so it should be some good games as we play them both next Saturday and Sunday. Here in Moose Jaw.

Today Mrs. Kerney talked to us about Blog Bingo. Blog Bingo is when you have to have a certain person comment on your blog. It has to be a relative, a friend who goes to a different school, your parent, a friend in this class, a teenager, a person lives in a different place in Saskatchewan, a friend who attends a different school, and a bunch of other people. I think this is going to be fun and if you think to to comment on my blog.

On Wednesday the 16th all the Grade 7 and 8 at Sunningdale are going camping at Buffalo Pound. I am looking forward to it and hope to have a good time.

This Summer I spent almost half of it in a hockey rink. In July My cousin and I went to my Auntie's cabin at Crooked Lake. My cousin and I only got to go tubing once, and we were there for three days. We always went fishing though. When me and my cousin went tubing we went for about  20 minutes without falling off. For about the rest of July I stayed down at my Grandma's. My Dad, my mom, and kade came down one day to my grandma's and then Kade, my cousin Eric, and I went dirtbiking with my dad and he took our quad. We used about a tank and a half of gas that day on our dirtbikes. In August it has been all hockey for one week I went to Notre Dame for a hockey camp.

In September now Tier Try-Outs are coming up so I'm getting ready for those.
